Howdy Bransford Families!

We are celebrating two GCISD Education Foundation grant winners! Mrs. Gibson, our Learning Liaison, and Mrs. Benson, our music specialist! Mrs. Gibson submitted for a grant to enhance our math manipulatives and resources for our students. This is pivotal in promoting our students to understand the core concepts in math and build a solid foundation in math skills that will impact their entire lives! Mrs. Benson submitted for a grant to enhance Arts Integration in our classrooms with instrument kits and resources to weave music skills and content concepts across our curriculum! I am so excited for these two projects to get starts and these items to be in the hands of our students. Thank you Mrs. Gibson and Mrs. Benson for working so hard to provide these opportunities for our Texans!

Our PTA hosted our Holiday Shop this week. A huge shout-out to Terri Wilhelm for purchasing, organizing, and stocking the shop shelves! The items were so nice and our Texans LOVE to shop - they are strengthening those independence skills. In addition, thank you to the numerous volunteers that gave their time to run the shop and help our students. What a great experience!

A reminder that the items in our Lost & Found will be donated later this week (usually packed on Thursday). Check our Instagram for a video of the items remaining. We are happy to send an item home if you recognize it!

I hope you can attend our 5th grade student performance of Seussical on Wednesday evening. The show begins at 6:30 pm. I have seen some of the rehearsal and it is absolutely fantastic!

Thursday is Holiday Party day! You are welcome to (and encouraged) to print your Visitor Badge before Thursday. Stop by anytime Monday - Thursday during campus hours (7:20-3:00) with your license and hang on to your badge until Thursday. This helps expedite visitors in the building so you can arrive on time to your child's party.
