*Class Parties- Our class parties will be held on Friday, December 20th, and we can’t wait to share this special time with our students and their families. Below is the schedule for the parties:

We welcome you to join us for your child’s party! Please check with your child’s teacher for any specific details or ways you can contribute. Remember to bring your photo ID when signing in at the front office, as safety is always our top priority.
Thank you for helping make this a memorable time for our students. Your partnership and support mean so much to us. Wishing you and your family a joyful and peaceful holiday season!

883 absences
684 tardies and early dismissals
For a total of 362,465 minutes of missed instruction.
Family Engagement
Turkey Feather Family Project
November was National Family Engagement month. To celebrate, we created a school wide turkey project. Thank you so much for all the gorgeous feathers that your family created to make our school turkey look so amazing! Look for another fun family project later this school year!

Stay Active & Healthy in December!
December can be the unhealthiest month of the year. It seems that everywhere we turn there is another table filled with delicious food and rich desserts. It’s hard to find time to exercise each day as well. I hope the following tips will help you make healthy choices throughout this busy season.
Don’t skip meals. If you eat healthy foods at regular intervals throughout the day, you’re much less likely to overeat at a party.
Focus on people. Too often, food takes the center stage of our holiday gatherings. Instead, focus on family, friends, and traditions that make the holidays meaningful.
Drink water. Stay hydrated by drinking water all day.
Walk more. Keep a brisk walking pace while you do your holiday shopping. Instead of wasting time looking for a closer parking spot, take a far-away one to increase your activity.
Get plenty of rest! Remember, kids need at least 10 hours of sleep each night and adults need 7-8 hours.
May your holidays be filled with blessings and joy!
Merry Christmas!
Media Center Matters with Mrs. Crawford
Music Notes with Mrs. Roach
Our whole school will travel to RHS theater to attend the December concert of Dance Team and Ringgold Singers on December 19th. Look for permission slips to come home and return those with the $2 to pay for transportation. It will be a great time!
