Trusting that the fall break brought you refreshment and a renewed spirit of gratitude and thanksgiving!
December will disappear in the blink of an eye! So many, many fun things in store. We look forward to celebrating our young musicians at our annual Tax Credit Holiday Concerts on Tuesday (kindergarten-3rd grade) and Thursday (4th-8th grade) evening, December 3rd and 5th. Students should report to their classrooms no later than 5:45. Their performances begin at 6:00. Not only do we get to enjoy their music but art teacher Allison Young and our student artists will have an installation for you to see as you enter the courtyard. Do not miss the opportunity to shop the Scholastic Book Fair in our media center and finish the evening with Mr. Moench where you can enjoy smores, hot chocolate and enjoy our beautiful garden, just follow the luminaria’s! The week of the 9th we will receive and plant 20 new trees from a grant. We will finally have our very own orchard behind the office, next to the garden and more shade!
The last day of afterschool classes is December 13th. The Valley Youth Theater and Taiko Drumming classes will hold a small end of session program for parents. These providers should have sent you information. If not, let us know and we can provide you with the days and times.
We will hold our school spelling bee on Friday, December 20th. The winner will move on to the district spelling bee in January.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held December 18th-20th. Please schedule your conference with your child’s teacher. We are looking forward to sharing your child’s learning progress with you.
