Holiday Celebrations

This month, Zeta Omega celebrated the holidays with each other before we left Columbia to go back home for the Christmas break. We kicked off our holiday weekend by having a Tau Betamas that was also a "surprise" senior dinner for Joe where we reminisced and relaxed before finals week. Later that weekend, we had joint Christmas party with our brothers in Kappa where we played board games and had a white elephant gift exchange. It was a great way to end the fall semester here at Mizzou.

The sisters of Zeta Omega wish all of our alumni a happy holiday season. We hope that all of you enjoyed 2016 as much as we did and that everyone has an amazing start to 2017! MLITB!

Marching Mizzou Banquet

On December 11th, our marching sisters celebrated the end of Marching Mizzou's season at the M2 banquet. Though Marching Mizzou is not going to a bowl game this year, we still had a lot of fun this year. Congratulations to our sister Adrianne for completing her senior season. We're already counting down the days till the next season kicks off at Faurot on September 2!

Mini fun

Marching Mizzou may be over, but Mini Mizzou is still going strong! Mini Mizzou plays at all home basketball and volleyball home games. While the volleyball season ended last month, thanks to our SEC champion volleyball team, Mizzou hosted a regional for the NCAA tournament and our sisters got the chance to perform at them. MIZ!

Mini Mizzou also got to help welcome the new president of the University of Missouri System, Mun Choi to campus this month

Senior Spotlight

As mentioned above, our sister Joe Hayden graduated at the end of the fall semester with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (psychology, business and French). We wish him the best going forward and we can't wait to see him again at the District Day that Zeta Omega is hosting in Feburary as he completes his term as Tau Beta Sigma's Midwest District President. Congratulations!

This month, the sisters of Zeta Omega were saddened to hear that an important member of the Mizzou band family, Gary Taylor, had passed away. We knew him not only through his role as director of the Marching Mizzou Alumni Band but also as an alumnus of the Kappa Kappa Psi chapter here at Mizzou. We are thankful that we got the chance to know him and his passion for the band program here at Mizzou. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, Kappa brothers and the entire Mizzou band family.
