What an awesome week at Clyde Erwin! Our students are doing great, and I love seeing their smiling faces and positive behavior in the hallways, classrooms, and throughout the building. We are proud of our school, and we hope you and your students feel at home and like you are part of a special family.

Fall Pictures

Fall pictures are scheduled for Monday, August 5. Students are required to wear uniforms for fall pictures. Students will have the opportunity to wear clothes of choice for spring pictures.

Beginning-of-Year Paperwork

This week begins our fourth week of school. It is imperative that all emergency and informational paperwork be turned in for your students.If you have not turned in student information sheets or emergency medical forms for your students, please send us this important paperwork this week.

Free and Reduced Meals

If you are interested in applying for free and reduced meals for the 2019-2020 school year, please get the application submitted ASAP.

PBIS Celebration "Water World" and Volunteers

We have our first PBIS Celebration "Water World" this Friday, August 9. Letters will be sent home with qualifying students later in the week. Students who qualify will need to bring a change of clothes, a towel, and sunscreen. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the office at 910-347-1261, or speak to Dr. Patterson or Mr. Sanfilippo (PBIS Committee Chair) at school. We love volunteers, and it is always very helpful during our PBIS Celebrations!

Open House and Report Card Pick-Up

Go ahead and mark your calendars for Open House and Report Card Pick-Up on Thursday, October 10, 5:00-6:00pm. Report cards will be available for pick-up, and you are welcome to visit classrooms and have brief meetings with teachers. Teachers will be scheduling conferences with all parents during the first quarter.

We review our behavior expectations with students regularly so they can show school pride at CEES and earn Class DoJo points. Students must earn 100 Class DoJo points during the month to participate in the schoolwide PBIS celebrations. Please review our CEES acronym with students at home to help support our program:
