Hello Scott Educational Families!!! We have made it to the last week of school!! As we push through this week and our year comes to and end, I want to let you all know that I have enjoyed working with your child or children. I am also glad that I had the opportunity to work with all of the parents and partner to ensure that all students are successful at Scott Educational Center. Having a positive home/school relationship is so vital to a child's education. When we can partner together and communicate effectively, it allows the experience for you and your child to be meaningful and helps to support their learning process socially, emotionally, and academically. Your students have made amazing progress and I wish them well as they continue their educational journey.

MAP and NWEA Assessments

All students have completed their MAP and NWEA testing for the year!! Our students worked really hard and gave their best efforts. Thank you for your support!!!

BIST

Reminders-Behavior Language

We just want to remind our parents that we utilize the BIST philoposphy. Here are some of the phrases that we utilize

I can make good choices even when I'm mad.
I can be okay when others are not okay.
I can do something even if I don't want to.

Your student most likely has a goal that they are working on. We also utilize being:

Calm
Safe
Directable

Attendance

Please ensure that your child is at school each day. We miss our students when they are not at school. However, we do understand when students have a legitimate reason (such as an illness) for being absent. Please contact the Scott Educational office if your child is absent. Please remember that every minute matters!
