EAG Class of 2021 Senior Newsletter
Week of September 12th
I've really enjoyed getting to meet all of you during our Senior English class meetings. Next week, I'll start meeting with each of you individually!! In the meantime, here are some helpful steps for you...
1. The Time is Now so Let's Start Planning!
College application and scholarship deadlines are firm, so it's best to start early. Knowing ahead of time when certain deadlines are will save you and your parents from a major headache later on.
2. Don't forget your actual schoolwork!
Yes, it's your senior year but colleges are still looking at the grades you make your senior year. They want to see if you can and will finish strong so don't let your study habits slip now.
3. Know your limits and seek help when you need to!
You don't have to "climb this mountain" and figure this all out by yourself. If you don't know where to begin or just feeling overwhelmed, remember I'm here to help you!!
4. Look at your options!
I would recommend for you to keep exploring options, who knows what you might find that fits your fancy. You might find out that your dream school actually might be affordable or you might find a major that you haven't thought of before.
5. Don't forget to Breathe!!
This is your senior and you do need to enjoy it. If you plan right, (this goes back to step 1), you should be able to do it all and still have time to enjoy your senior year - hanging out with friends, going to games, Prom, Graduation and so much more! Be sure to have some school spirit and Enjoy!!
Be sure to come see me if you need anything!!
~ Ms. Bryan
