Weekly Good News

When the heat index ranges from 102-105 degrees, you get creative with practice! Yesterday, our Girls JV and Varsity Golf teams put their putting skills to the test by taking on a new course, the middle school hallway. Such a fun way to beat the heat!

Students in Mrs. Oddy's classroom have been working on getting to know each other. Students participated in "Find Someone Who Likes To..." Bingo. Students had to find someone who enjoys doing the activities listed and then have them sign their name in that specific box. Activities include eating ice cream, playing with their pets, and collecting rocks. Students had a lot of fun learning about their peers!

Our Wayland Union Bee Club was hard at work this summer expanding their apiary, adding 9 new hives for students to manage! They tended to their hives weekly, even on hot summer days, and were able to pull over 7 gallons of honey!

The honey is raw and unfiltered, providing many additional nutrients to help with allergies and your immune system. The more local your honey, the better it helps you (and this honey comes directly from our MS campus).

Key facts about the sale:

*Bottles are 18 ounces in weight.

*Bottles cost $10 each, with all proceeds benefiting Bee Club.

*Acceptable forms of payment are cash or checks made out to Wayland Union Schools

*Payment must be made before or upon delivery.
