5th Grade Visits
This week we welcomed OUR feeder schools' 5th graders, who will be OUR 6th graders next year. We gave them a tour, played some music and sang, and showcased OUR awesome programs. Below is a video of some of OUR Baldwin students entering the building, greeting by OUR stepteam and cheerleaders.

The staff at Summerour Middle School is anxiously anticipating the arrival of your 5th grader and is working diligently to make the transition as smooth as possible. We would like to extend a warm welcome to your future Summerour student and invite you to participate in our Red-Carpet Event for Parents of Rising 6th Graders on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the school cafeteria. Discussions will include: expectations, curriculum, strategies for parents, and many more.

Community Physicals for All Norcross Athletes
If you plan on participating in a sport next year, you must have a physical on file. This physical will cover you for any sport during the entire 2024-2025 school year.
All Youth Athletes/Cheerleaders can get a physical on this day:

Registration Begins April 8
Student Registration for the 2024-25 school year begins April 8, 2024.
Student Registration for the 2024-25 school year begins April 8, 2024. You may register online. After your student's online registration is complete, you will need to complete the enrollment process at your school.
Who needs to register? All kindergarten students and all new students enrolling in Gwinnett County Public Schools.
- Please note that students must be five years old on or before September 1, 2024, to register for the kindergarten 2024-2025 school year!
- If you need help determining which school your child will attend, visit Find My School on the district website.
Where can I register my child? Registration is 100% online. Student Registration for the 2024-25 school year begins April 8, 2024. Online registration for GCPS.
Do Current Students need to register for 2024-25? Current GCPS students who are moving will need to complete a change of status form.
Students who enrolled in a school under one of the conditions below will need to renew their form.

Tutoring is not available on GMAS testing days, Final Exam days, and scheduled Faculty Meeting days.
Intramurals Finished
There will be no more intramurals after Spring Break!
Thanks to all who participated in OUR intramural programs this year. We'll ramp up again next school year, and if you're in 6th or 7th grade, we'll see you next year!
