Sonic update!
Even with the rain, our community still showed up to help support our Art Department! Together we raised $1050.00 for our school! Thank you to everyone that came out, your support is greatly appreciated.
A Daughter Dance:
All girls of Copper Creek, we invite you to come out on Thursday, February 22nd from 5:30 - 7pm to dance with your special someone. Fliers were sent home last week and we're going green, please submit your payment through the QR code found on the flier or search our store (link below) to submit payment. In order to get an accurate appetizer count, please make sure that you submit payment by February 16th.
CCPTSA is looking for you!
We are currently looking for members in our community to join our executive board. All board positions will be starting on July 1st, 2024. Positions available are: President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. We have several other options as well that do not include being on the executive board if you are interested. All interested candidates must be a CCPTSA member by 3/1/24 to be nominated.
Yearbooks!
On March 1st, we will be finalizing our yearbook count. Once we submit our final total to our vendor, we will not be able to order additional yearbooks. Please make sure you submit your yearbook order by March 1st, 2024! Orders received after 3/1 may not be fulfilled as we can not guarantee that we will have any extra inventory. You can purchase your yearbook through our CCPTSA store or with cash/check until March 1st.
*If you purchase online with a student membership, the store will automatically discount $5 off of the yearbook. No code is required.
*If you would like to purchase online at a later date, please email us for your discount code.
Pricing for CCPTSA members is $20. Non-CCPTSA members is $25.00.
We can not stress this enough, yearbooks will sell out so don't delay!

Parents, if you have taken photos from any event or field trip, can you please upload them using the directions below or you can email them to president@ccptsa.com or contact us through Facebook and we can provide you with a phone number to text them. Pictures sent to us will be used in our 2023-2024 yearbook.

8. Don’t forget to “Tag” the people in the photo - grade level or teacher name is prefered!
**If you upload pictures from your mobile device, sometimes it slows the system down if you try to upload too many at one time. If this happens we suggest re-uploading the photos but cutting the quantity in half.
Show your school spirit by purchasing a student membership!
All student memberships include your student's class t-shirt. Class shirts are worn throughout the year on event and spirit days, field trips and membership days, which is something new for this school year.

We have on hand a select amount of spirit shirts that mimic our homeroom class shirts. They are black in color, with the large bobcat design on the back and are unisex. The cost is $20.00. *Snack bar is for 1st - 6th graders
*Students can purchase up to two items
*No buying or sharing items for other students
*Parents do have the option to restrict or limit the amount of items a student can purchase (please contact Ms. Kay in the cafeteria if you would like to adjust or restrict snack bar access)

Get ready to have fun and save lives! Kids Heart Challenge is starting on January 29th! Your student will learn about heart, brain, and vascular health, and get to meet kids with special hearts! Our goal is to have 100% of our school families join our online team and learn Hands Only CPR through Finn’s Mission.
Don’t wait, register TODAY! It can help our class win the Classroom Challenge! Students who register early and complete Finn’s Mission will be honored at our kick-off assembly and earn an entry for two tickets to Super Bowl LIX in 2025!

The American Heart Association is excited to extend their work with the NFL to support improving health outcomes at home and beyond through the Hands-Only CPR education. Students that complete the Finn’s Mission learning module will earn an entry for two tickets to Super Bowl LIX in 2025 and our school will be entered to receive a $10,000 fitness equipment makeover for every 18 completed Finn’s Mission. Thank you for supporting our school and the American Heart Association! Together, we are saving lives!

What Parents will Need to Enroll Their Student
- Original birth certificate or a certified copy
- Immunization records
- Proof of residence (utility bill, house payment receipt, rent receipt, escrow document or lease agreement)
- Form of Identification
- Copy of legal guardian or custody papers if applicable
Open Enrollment for 2024/2025 School Year
Open Enrollment for the 2024/2025 school year will open to parents on October 2nd, 2023 at 8:00 AM. If you want your student to attend a school that is not their home school, you will need to apply for open enrollment. Applications will be reviewed starting sometime in January. If you have a current 6th grade student and they would like to follow Copper Creek's track and Hillcrest Middle School is not their home school, you MUST complete open enrollment and choose Hillcrest or the school of your choice.
