Dear TUFSD Families and Staff,
Our first official week of the new year was quite a busy one. From exciting athletic events to important milestones in our students' journeys, we’ve witnessed the incredible spirit of our district.
Over the weekend, our Horseman Family Saturday event brought our community together. Our athletes, who competed in various events, did so with heart, and their dedication is inspiring—all of this showing once again how strong and connected we are as a district.
It’s always uplifting to see our young people pushing themselves toward their goals, whether through academic challenges or personal growth. Thank you to everyone who makes these moments possible.
We’re excited for the achievements and opportunities ahead, especially with our upcoming middle school production of Shrek, Jr.!
Sincerely,
Dr. Raymond Sanchez

2025-2026 Start Times
With the upcoming Reopening of Tappan Hill, we anticipate a need to change some of our school start times. We have been studying the various options that might exist. As soon as we have some options, we will begin to engage our community and staff.
College Night Success
Approximately 90 students and their families attended College Night for Juniors last night at Sleepy Hollow HS. College guidebooks and Naviance registration cards were provided to all in attendance. Most importantly, students and parents were able to better understand how the admissions process works directly from Craig Broccoli, Admissions Counselor at Binghamton University, along with the SHHS Counseling Department.
The Class of 2026 asked some great questions and are better prepared to take on this process.
Basketball Game Brings Community Together
Peggy Noonan, from the Kevin Noonan Jr. Foundation, delivered an impactful message on suicide awareness between the JV and Varsity games. It was an inspiring evening that brought the community together for an important cause.
