Office Hours and Procedures
Main Office Procedures
Our offices will be open Monday - Friday from 7am to 3pm for the remainder of the year. Join us in welcoming Mrs. Maya Grier our new attendance secretary. Mrs. Grier will be covering the main office as part of her duties and will also manage all attendance matters.
For the 24-25 school year we will have a few changes to the office procedures. Last year we average 50+ students late to school every day. In order to address this issue we will be monitoring students who consistently arrive late to school/class. Please review the new guidelines for Early Dismissals and Late Arrivals below.
All students will sign in and out using a digital sign in system (SWIPE). Student ID's will have a barcode they can scan or enter their student ID number.
- Administrators will monitor the number of late to school/class entries and will issue warnings and detentions. Parent conferences may be required if actions do not improve.
- Early Dismissals must be accompanied with a parent note regardless if student is 18 years of age. The guardian must notify the attendance secretary that the student can leave early.
- No early dismissals will be accepted after 2pm. School dismisses at 2:18 and the office must prepare for the arrival of buses.
- Only Seniors may have abbreviated schedules and or study hall excusals to leave early or arrive late. Parents must sign the study hall forms for Seniors to have the permission leave first and last period of the day ONLY.
No students are permitted to leave the building and return for a later class without a documented reason. If you have any questions please speak with your student's administrator.
