Maple Grove Middle School will be here on Monday, February 3rd for a course selection assembly for 5th grade students. Students will come home with a course selection form to fill out and bring back to school. These forms will help counselors build schedules for students next school year. Please take time to go over the courses available with your student. If you have any questions, contact your teacher. The forms are due back to school on Monday, February 10th. For students attending Diamond Fork Middle School, more information will be coming soon.

We are excited to invite Arts Inc. to Rees on Thursday, February 6th. Arts Inc. provides professional performances centered around music or dancing. Last year we had break dancing and they did not disappoint! This year we will have a string band called Fiddle Tunes. This will be an exciting assembly to teach students how fun it can be to learn how to play music.

Fifth Grade students have been working hard on their Science Fair projects. Parents are welcome to come view all the projects on Friday, February 7th from 2:45-3:15.

Our School Community Council will meet on Friday, February 7th at 11:45 in the Conference Room. For more information about SCC and how they support our school click here.

Students will participate and celebrate Kindness Week February 10th-14th. We encourage you to talk to your students about kindness and how they show kindness this week and everyday at Rees.

There will be a PTA Meeting on Wednesday, February 12th at 10:00 in the Teacher's Lounge. Come on out and support our students and school! Click Here for the Rees PTA website.

There will be No School on February 17th in observance of Presidents' Day.

Please mark your calendar for "Parents and Pastries" night on March 3rd at 6:00 sponsored by our PTA. This is in correlation with Dr. Seuss Read Across America Day.
