Hello Jefferson Leadership Academy (JLA) families and caregivers,
Welcome to the Second Semester! We are starting the semester with a full week of activities, including girls' basketball, cheer tryouts, Scholar of the Month recognition, and perfect attendance-free dress on Friday. In addition, all students will participate in the Say Something Training during the fourth period. Keep reading for all the details.
Here are a few events as you prepare for this week at JLA:
- Minimum Day Dismissal: Monday @ 1:10
- Girls' Basketball Game vs. Lindsey @ JLA: Monday 3:45-5:00
- Regular Day Schedule: Tuesday- Friday 8:00-2:40
- Say Something Student Training: Wednesday, 4th period
- Scholar of the Month: Wednesday 3:00-4:00
- Girls' Basketball Game @Marshall: Thursday 3:45-5:00
- Perfect Attendance Free Dress Day: Friday

Say Something Student Training- 4th period on 1/29/25
This Wednesday, January 29, during the 4th period, all classes will participate in the Say Something Student Training. This is part of our school safety plan and is a necessary component of our student training to support our JLA community to be aware on campus.
