SSS WEEKLY UPDATE

It is imperative that your student has a mask on at all times for in-person learning. They must wear a mask on the bus and have it on as they exit your car or approach our building. If your child has issues with their mask and puts their peers and teacher's safety at risk, you will receive a phone call and the situation could require you to pick up your child. If an issue persists, then your child will have to become a virtual learner so we can keep all of our students and teachers safe.

Monday, October 26

• Bus riders - be ready for the bus at 7:00 am!
• School doors open at 7:30 am
• Instruction starts at 8:00 am for in-person learners!
• If you arrive after 8:00 am enter through the office door, under the tunnel.
• Dismissal will be at 11:00 am!
• K-3 Virtual learning will begin at 1:00 pm!
• 4th-8th Virtual need to be on a Zoom at 8:00 am!

Tuesday, October 27

• 100% Virtual due to teacher training
• Teachers will contact students/families on schedule

Mon - 10/26

• Breakfast - pick up at 11:30-12:00 in front office
• Lunch - pick up at 11:30-12:00 in front office

Tues - 10/27

• Breakfast - was sent home yesterday with lunch
• Lunch - pick up at 11:30-12:00 in front office. Bag will include Tuesday lunch, Wednesday Breakfast and Lunch and Thursday Breakfast

Wed - 10/28

• No Breakfast or Lunch - picked up on Tuesday

Thur - 10/29

• Busses will deliver to their normal food routes. Bag will include Thursday Breakfast and Lunch, and Friday Breakfast and Lunch

Fri - 10/30

• No Breakfast or Lunch - delivered on Thursday

Good Morning SSS Students and Families!

The Second Street School PTSA is excited to announce our first online Student Pumpkin Decorating Contest! You can carve it, you can paint it, you can dress it up however you like!! One pumpkin per student can be entered and one student for each grade will be a winner!

To enter the contest please send an up-close picture of your pumpkin to sssfrankfort@gmail.com or send via messenger on Facebook AND fill out this form https://forms.gle/gA2DGpdCzSZZhzoP7. We absolutely need both before you can be entered.

Online voting will start on Monday October 19th and run until Thursday October 29th at 10PM. Winners will be announced on Friday the 30th! (Entries will also be accepted until closing).

Need a pumpkin to decorate? Please let us know, by emailing sssfrankfort@gmail.com. We can arrange for home drop-off or school pick-up.

Frankfort Independent Families,

Although we are starting our school year virtually, we will still have the opportunity to provide counseling services for both Second Street School and Frankfort High students. Kurt Montooth is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with Deaton and Deaton Counseling. He will be available for in-person (at both schools) or telehealth appointments.
