Dear Pinewood community,
As you recently learned, Andrew Skinner has been offered and accepted the position of principal at Turtle Lake Elementary School. We have been fortunate that Andrew has devoted 20 years to serving Mounds View Public Schools, and I know he deeply appreciates his time leading your exceptional school community.
Please know that I am committed to finding a new principal for Pinewood who will continue Andrew’s strong work focused on providing equity in educational opportunities. Our search for a replacement will begin immediately. My goal is to name a new principal for Pinewood this spring who will start on or about July 1 – ready to begin the 2024-25 school year.
I am confident Pinewood will continue its tradition of excellence, and I know Andrew and his staff are committed to finishing another positive and productive year with your students. Please join me this spring as we begin to wish Andrew well in his new school.
