Weekly Wildcat
October 13, 2023
Hello Sundance Families!
We've had another fantastic week at Sundance! This week, we launched our first Tech and Innovation Learning Visits in grades 3rd-5th. We also had a very successful Book Fair! Thank you to our wonderful volunteers for making this week long event a huge success!
As we look ahead, our students will dive into the exciting world of flight during Xploration. Our Wildcats will use the engineering design process to plan and tackle exciting challenges. Stay turned for more updates on the amazing learning journey ahead!
Please continue to keep our students, staff, and families safe before and after school by:
- Consistently using crosswalks
- Avoiding parking in the drop off zone to maintain a smooth traffic flow
- Pull into parking spaces fully, ensuring vehicles are not sticking out into traffic lanes
Action Items (New Section!!):
- Mindful Monday: Check out our Mindful Monday linked here!
- Musical Theatre Club: The Musical Theater starts on Monday after school. Interested students may still sign up Sundance Musical Theatre Club Interest Form
- Chess Club: Our Foundation is once again sponsoring Sundance Chess Club for students in grades 3 -5. No experience is required, but a desire to learn chess with premier Chess Master, Erik Marquis and a commitment to attend each session through May is expected.
Sessions will begin NOVEMBER 7, 2:10 - 3:10 and continue on "regular dismissal" Tuesdays through May. The club meets outdoors at the kindergarten lunch tables. ** Prompt pick up is required** ESS students will check in with them first and return to ESS at 3:10pm.
Participation is limited to the first 35 students to register.
