Weekly Bulldog Bits
for the week of September 16th
A new way to get information weekly about Hirsch and our Bulldogs!
Reminder Parents/Guardians!
Attention parents/guardians!!! Students need to wait to get out of cars at the loading area or wait until a staff member gets them out of the car at drop off. The loading/unloading area is clearly marked with signs and we need to work together to get everyone to school safely. Please remember the Valet Loop is only for the grades 1-5; TK/Kindergarten must be walked to the gate.
Also, parents/guardians are not allowed past the school gate. If your child needs a forgotten item please bring it to the front office. All volunteers must check in first before coming onto campus. Thank you for your cooperation in helping to maintain a safe campus.
Rock Your School Day is Friday, September 27th!
It’s a nationwide initiative to bring student engagement to classrooms all over the world! Students can enjoy this day of learning dressed like the rock stars we know they are!
If you’d like to add to the excitement, have your child dress in their best rocker attire!
Looking forward to celebrating our Bulldog Rockstars!
School Site Council
We are looking for parents/guardians who can attend all 4 of our School Site Council meetings this year. We need 5 volunteers. Our meetings are Mondays: 10/14, 1/27, 3/17, and 4/14 from 3-4:30 in room 18. At our meetings, we discuss school data, school goals, review progress on goals, and generate feedback/ideas/comments on how Hirsch spends its small allocation of special funds from the district. Please email me if you are interested, along with your child's name and room #. Thank you to those parents who have reached out already. I will be following up with all who volunteer this weekend with additional details. Additionally, a Google Form for voting will be coming your way shortly.
Grade 4/5 Basketball
Will your grade 4/5 student be trying out for basketball team this year? Tryouts will be taking place this November. As a reminder, a student is unable to try out without having a completed physical with the documentation. There are no exceptions to the timeline as this is a district policy.

Boys Basketball Tryouts:
