Laser Printer
This printer is used at work most of the time as it quiet and quick. It uses toner to produce coloured imagery.
Advantage:
It prints a lot of documents quickly.
Disadvantage:
It is really expensive.
Ink-Jet Printer
These are mainly used at home where not much needs to be printed and the quality doesn't have to be 100%.
Advantage:
cheap to buy and can print black and white and colour printing at the same time.
Disadvantage:
Does get slow if printing lots at the same time.
Plotter printer
Plotters are a specialist type of printer able to make quality images on large pieces of paper.
Advantage:
Larger sizes of paper can be used than most printers can.
Disadvantage:
It can be slow

A robotic arm is a mechanical arm, which is programmable, and has similar functions to a human arm.
Advantage:
can help you do daily tasks
Disadvantage:
if something was going wrong it wouldn't notice
