Gower Middle Weekly Update

Our winter MAP testing is Tuesday and Wednesday, January 14th and 15th. Students will take the Reading MAP test on Tuesday and the Math MAP test on Wednesday. Students will attend all classes on a shortened class period schedule each day.

Please remind your child to get a good night's sleep before their tests and eat breakfast each morning. We serve breakfast at Gower Middle. Students need to have a book to read with them in case they finish their test before the testing time has expired.

Save the date for Gower's Annual STEM Night and Science Showcase on January 30th from 6-7:30 pm at Gower West. This event is open to all K-8 families and will include a variety of STEM activities and an opportunity to give feedback to our 4th-8th grade Scientists and Engineers.

An email was sent to all 8th grade parents this week containing important second semester dates and information for our Class of 2025. Please make sure to check this email as it contains a lot of information!
