Note from Dr. Mullenschlader
Eclipse Week!
What a fun event we had here on Monday. I know that we just had an eclipse in 2017, but so many of our youngest children would not have seen that event or if they did, they might not remember it. Monday afternoon was truly extraordinary and I loved being able to celebrate it with the children. I am so thankful that the weather was perfect. I told the children and I hope you feel the same way, what a reflection on not only the existence of God, but the magnificence of his power. It was marvelous! Thanks for the parents who showed up and joined us.
One important note, we have a had a few calls on the 2:15 pm Dismissal on Friday, April 19th. We already had that day scheduled and will keep the early release time on that day. So, on April 19th, students will be dismiss at 2:15 pm, as it has been scheduled all year. The changes to the 2:15 pm dismissal time is for the 2024 - 2025 school year.
Lastly, Grandparents Day was awesome! Thank you to all the volunteers and Borromeo staff who made that day possible. We had a lot of fun sharing our mission with the grandparents. We hope to continue this great tradition for the 2024 - 2025 school year and beyond.
A couple of items of notes that are important concerning our 2024 - 2025 calendar:
1. We are no longer going to have 2:15 pm release days on Fridays throughout the year. This is for the 2024 - 2025 school year.
2. We moved around the half day Professional Development days a bit to provide more consistency and provide a half day work day around report card time.
3. The updated 2024 - 2025 calendar is available below.
