PRINCIPALS NOTE
Another busy week here at Jacobson Elementary! We had Student Council Inductions, Civilian Educators from the Chandler PD, Flag Corps from Hamilton, and Science Is Fun from Basha High School stop by to engage our students in learning. Thankful we have so many opportunities here at Jacobson Elementary!
Our 6th grade football intramurals are underway. We had over 50 students across the grade level sign up to play. During their lunch recess, teams will play a round robin schedule, followed by a single elimination tournament, culminating with the winning team playing against the staff on September 18th. Good luck to all!!
Just a reminder of the awesome program we have here at Jacobson for over 2 decades.

Civilian Educators from the Chandler PD were this past week to present their new S.E.E. program to our 6th graders. The program consists of 4 different lesson plans (about 45 minutes each) covering Leadership and the Community, Drugs and Alcohol, Cyber Dilemmas, and Respect and Responsibility. The goal of the S.E.E. program includes fostering responsible citizenship, promoting problem-solving skills, promoting a positive self-image and character development in our young leaders!
