Please inform students that their performance on MAP will determine tutorials, small group instruction and differentiation during class.

*Schedule your testing to allow for any make-ups or hiccups.

As the winter MAP closes out, we will utilize the student growth calculator to help determine if your students are showing growth/progress. This will also give you/us an indication if you are showing growth for T-TESS.

As discussed last semester, data driven instruction will help with student growth. Focus on your data and be intentional with differentiating instruction.

*We should continue to place a MAJOR focus on growing students. It's important that we grow ALL students but more specifically our sub-groups. If you recall, our "B" rating was due in part to a low percentage in "STUDENT GROWTH" and "Closing the Gaps" in Domain III (Sub Pops).

We will dig into your data and take a closer look at what else we can do to ensure growth during our PD on February 3.

We are now midway through the school year and it's the perfect time to reflect on your goals. Update and provide your evidence for each of your goals in Bulb for the first semester. We will visit about your evidence and goals during your year-end conference in May.

The Lubbock-Cooper Education Foundation is once again opening up applications for innovative LCISD employees to send in their creative grant ideas! Applications will be accepted through Friday, February 21, so get started as soon as possible! Everyone is welcome to apply, including previous grant recipients!

If any of you are sending classroom-wide parent communications via email (instead of using Smore or Skyward), please remember to blind copy the parent email addresses. When you do not blind copy, each parent can see the email address of each other parent in the classroom, which is a privacy violation. (It also opens up the possibility of "reply all," which could potentially cause issues.)

• The science fair is next Wednesday. You are invited to view the projects from 4:15 - 5:30 p.m. at the Indoor Facility.
