Dear Parents/Guardians,
It's that time of the year where the holidays are upon us and even though this is a happy time for most, that is not always the case for all. Grief comes in many forms, including loss of dwellings, items, jobs, loved ones, or even just grief from an unforeseen event that changed your current situation. We want the very best for our students to include their educational needs as well as their overall wellbeing. Did you know our student services team can help families connect with resources during times of need? We currently send home 4 pounds of non-perishable food with numerous students every Friday. Our Tampa Bay Feeding Project allows us to partner and provide food to families in need through our onsite food bank with food such as canned items, fresh items, freezer items, and a lot more. Our school partners with Chrysalis Counseling services where a provider comes on our campus each week to work 1:1 with students that qualify. Coming up soon we will have a Dental Van on campus to provide cleaning and fluoride services to students. There are other resources available in our county that this team of professionals can help guide our Cypress families. Mrs. Taggart teams up with our office staff Eileen Freeman, Debbie Hemby and of course our school counselor Amy Kae. This team is amazing at problem solving with families and finding the right resources. Don't hesitate as we are truly here to help our community!
