A huge thank you to our Malta Ave PTA for planning another amazing family movie night at the Malta Drive-In. A special thank you goes out to the Business for Good Foundation for sponsoring this wonderful event for our students!

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. At Malta Ave we honor bullying prevention month by promoting kindness, inclusivity, and respect. Our unrelenting goal at Malta Ave is to create a school culture in which all students, families, and staff feel welcome and feel a sense of belonging. On Wednesday, October 16th, we will celebrate Unity Day. On this day we encourage students and staff to wear orange. The goal of Unity Day is to bring together students, parents, educators, and community members across the nation to emphasize the message that bullying is not acceptable, and that all students deserve to be safe in school and in the community.

This month, we have two character education word of the month overall winners. Our winners are: Blake L. and Brantley P.B. Congratulations Blake and Brantley! Thank you for exemplifying citizenship and embodying the Malta Way! Blake and Brantley will be our Malta Man Sidekicks.
