Dear OMS families,

Well, it sure has been an eventful week at the nest! We appreciate all of your support and flexibility as we continue to navigate this unconventional school year. We really missed our students this week and hope that we won't have any more unexpected remote learning days! Even with the craziness, we hope you found that our teachers were prepared and did their absolute best to carry on with instruction! We are so grateful for this community.

We want to hear from you! The good, the bad, the ugly, but hopefully mostly good! Please take a few minutes this weekend to complete the 5 Essentials Survey to let us know how we are doing. Our current parent response rate is only 4% (up 3% from last week). We need at least 20% of our parents to complete this survey in order to receive a report with feedback.

We are collaborating with three D25 alumni who are currently at Hersey working on a National Honor Society project. The high school seniors are collecting cards for first responders as well as the elderly community at Luther Home. If your child wants to make a card at home, they can place them in the collection box outside of the OMS office (by the red bench). We will collect cards through March 12th. Students may sign the card "from a student at Olive-Mary Stitt". All cards with student names will be removed and not sent.

The PTA will have a one-time Virtual Comic Book Club. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis for the first twenty students. If any parent or high-school student along with a parent sponsor is interested in running a virtual club at OMS please reach out to the OMS PTA.

Please click the link to sign up for your child. We will email those families that are in the first 20 sign-ups. If you see that the link is no longer accepting responses we have already exceeded 20 students.
