April/May Character Education Students Recognized for Perseverance
Talent Show
The C.I.S. student talent show will be held on Monday, May 19 at the following times:
3rd grade: 9:45-10:30
4th grade: 8:55-9:40
5th grade: 8:05-8:50
Parents will be allowed to attend pending Raptor check-in. Parents, if you plan to attend please contact the office at 816-882-1046 ahead of time so we can be as efficient as possible with signing in.
Last Day of School
The last day of school is May 22. We will have an early dismissal at 12:30p.m.
The color day for May 21 (our original last day) is orange.
Summer School
Summer School for C.I.S. students will be at the Cameron Veterans Middle School. It will run from May 29-June 25, 2025.
C.I.S. School Hours
Next Years Class Placement
Student letters will be mailed to the address on TeacherEase the first part of August indicating who the child's teachers will be for 2025-2026.
May Important Dates
May 19 - Talent Show
May 19 - All library books due
May 16 and 19 - 5th graders (1/2 each day) will tour CVMS
May 20 - 5th grade field trip
May 20 - 2nd grade visits CIS
May 21 - 5th grade to Wallace State Park
May 22 - Last day of school - early dismissal at 12:30p.m.
Back to School 2025-2026
Open House for the 2025-2026 school year is Wednesday, August 13 from 5:00
p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
August 19 will be the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!
