Mariner Times
May 13, 2024
Greetings, Mariner Families!
I hope all the mothers of our community had a wonderful Mother’s Day!
This Thursday at 5pm we will host our Future Mariner Parent Night. We will share information about all of our programs and activities for students at Mar Vista High School. Please spread the word if you know of any Future Mariners coming our way!
On Thursday night at 6pm, the MVH band and orchestra will be hosting the Spring Pops Concert with performances that promise to be amazing. Please join us to support our music program and our musicians.
Grad Nite is rapidly approaching for seniors. They will be headed to Six Flags Magic Mountain on Friday, May 31st. Please make sure your student is not on the Choices List so he/she/they may participate in this exciting senior event.
Thank you to all of you for your continued support! Let’s finish the year strong!
Teresa Kramer
Principal
If your student chooses to ride their bike, skateboard, or scooter to school. They must secure them in the storage area located by the library. They will not be allowed on campus. We do have skateboard lockers and chains available, but students must bring their own lock. Any standard combination lock will work for the skateboard lockers. Mar Vista High is not responsible for theft or vandalism of these transportation items.
