In summary, Hattie points out that many politicians and leaders in education are mis-guided and misleading in the areas they say we should be focusing on. We know that many things are out of our professional control so we should focus our attention, efforts, and resources on those areas that have been shown through research to most significantly impact student success. John Hattie outlines those areas well in the video below and the PD we will all participate in down the road.
