Get ready to bundle up and show your school spirit because Winter Spirit Week is just around the corner! Each day is packed with festive fun, and we want to see everyone participate and make this a week to remember. Here’s the lineup:
2024–2025 CCSD Districtwide Survey
Attention NVLA Community
Parents/guardians, students, and staff are encouraged to participate in the Clark County School District Annual Survey. This survey is essential to providing feedback on our progress toward District priorities, meeting Board and Nevada Department of Education requirements, and supporting our ongoing improvement efforts.
Survey Details:
- Opened: Monday, October 28, 2024
- Closes: 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2024
- Participation Requirement: At least 75% of eligible students in Grades 4-12
The survey takes less than 10 minutes and is a vital part of the District’s annual self-assessment. Your feedback makes a difference, so please take a moment to complete the survey and help us reach our goal!
Parent/Guardian Survey
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to submit their 2024–2025 Districtwide Parent/Guardian Survey online using a computer, laptop, or other mobile device at https://www.ccsd.net/survey. Any parent/guardian with children enrolled at the school are eligible to take the survey.
Student Survey
Students can access the 2024–2025 Districtwide Student Survey at https://www.ccsd.net/survey. Please note that the survey is to be completed by students in Grades 4 through 12. To access the Student Survey, students must type in their student ID number and birthdate to complete the survey. Students must complete more than half of the survey in order to count as a participant.
Staff Survey
Staff can access the 2024–2025 Districtwide School Staff Survey at https://www.ccsd.net/survey. If a staff member is working in a remote location that is not part of CCSD’s network, they will be prompted to enter a password.

NV State Art Contest Winner - What do you want to be when you grow up?
Congratulations! Aezabelle (Ann) Espero was selected as the 3rd place winner in the grade category! Ann will receive $250 deposited into a Future Path 529 college savings account.
Scholarship Opportunity
The Cre8sian Project was founded as a way to give back to the community while empowering Asian women around the world by developing female superhero characters that envelop qualities of a superhero: Determination, Concentration, Motivation, and Education. This brand is about recognizing diversity in the arts, emphasizing that representation matters, and empowering women in the arts and beyond!
Students who are involved in any aspect of the arts, not just performance, are encouraged to
apply. One high school winner will be chosen for the 2024–2025 academic school year. The winner will receive a monetary scholarship of $3,000.00 and a headshot session with Jenna Leigh of Killer Imaging!

Nominations for the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Academic Excellence Awards opened last week and will remain open through March 24, 2025. This is your chance to recognize outstanding students in grades K–12 across Southern Nevada who excel in academics, leadership, citizenship, and community service.
Help us spread the word! Share this with your friends, colleagues, and school communities so we can celebrate as many incredible students as possible. Each student selected as an Academic Excellence Award recipient will receive:
