ZB Parent Bulletin
Welcome Back...
Hello ZB families and Friends,
We hope that you are enjoying your final weeks of summer. School is right around the corner, and we are excited to receive all of our students back into our building. In an attempt to keep you updated about some of the significant changes for this school year, please read through the information in this letter. Please ensure you are aware of the upcoming expectations at the ZB campus.

Finals
Final exams will now be included in the final percentage of students' grades. This is a change from the previous 4 years. It is important for your student to be in attendance on the following exam dates:
- 1st Semester - Dec. 19th, 20th, 21st
- 2nd Semester - May 21st, 22nd, 23rd
Parking Lot Drop Off/ Pick Up
- Student drop off and pick up will now be located in the athletic field parking lot, located in the far northeast corner off of 21st street
- Student drivers will park in the Southwest parking lot behind the school
- Faculty will now have the option to park in the front lot next to the student drop off entrance and the Southeast lot towards the PAC
Cellphones
This year we will be conducting an in-depth study on the implication of the cellphones inside the classroom. As a reminder, there is already a policy outlined in our student handbook explaining that cellphones are not to be used in class without teacher permission. This will not be a new expectation but rather a re-emphasis on classroom procedures. In order to further maximize instructional time inside classrooms, we want to make sure students and parents are aware. Please ensure your student is prepared for this expectation at the start of the school year.
In conclusion, You matter! You are important! We are proud! We bee-lieve!
