Demo Family Memo
June 6th, 2025
Principal Message
Demo Community,
As we approach the end of the school year, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your continued support throughout this year. Your partnership has made a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and staff.
The Class of 2025 went out on a high note, and our graduation celebration this past week was a tremendous success. The outpouring of love and support from our community was truly inspiring and a beautiful way to honor our graduating seniors.
As we head into this final week of school, students will be busy with finals, locker clean-outs, Chromebook returns, and Yondr pouch check-ins. We’re wrapping up and getting ready for a well-deserved summer break.
Please take a moment to review this week’s newsletter carefully. It contains important reminders and instructions to ensure a smooth close to the year—including the return of all devices and school equipment. Turning everything in on time helps avoid any unexpected charges.
Wishing all of you a safe, restful, and joyful summer. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community.
As always—be safe, and go Demos!
Drake

Opportunity Highlight of the Week: Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity to gain experience in construction and beef up your apprenticeship application!
Most construction sites don't hire high school students, which makes it hard to get apprenticeships right out of high school. Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity during the summer is a great way for high school students to gain important experience for jobs in the trades. Must be 16 yrs or older. Ongoing volunteer opportunities all summer long!
Student Tech Team
"Lead by our Site Technology Specialist Kenneth Hamilton, our Demos student tech team was hard at work last Friday, cleaning and processing over 125 student Chromebooks that were turned in by our seniors to get them ready for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. The student tech team has assisted Kenneth all year long with minor repairs to student Chromebooks and they recently got to enjoy a field trip to OMSI in recognition of all their hard work.
