Reinforce Decimal Skills
Submitted by Mrs. Shutt, CES 5th Grade Teacher
The 5th graders at Colebrookdale reviewed decimal operations with buying products at the local Colebrookdale Market. Students worked in pairs and picked different items around the market working on their adding, multiplying, and subtracting decimals. They enjoyed this real-life Math practice with the support of Boyertown's Redner's Warehouse Market, supplying them with shopping baskets.

WES PTO Hosts Walk-a-Thon Fundraiser
Submitted by Mr. Kessler, WES PTO President
WES PTO held a Fall Fest/Washington Walk (walk-a-thon) on Friday, October 18th. The event included
a "fall scene" photo backdrop created against the school building for classes to drop by for a class photo. The intent is to use these photos in the yearbook. Thank you to Wendy's Flowers for the fall decor.
There was a drone fly-over that took a photo of our fifth graders who were strategically placed in a W.E.S. chalk outline.
We had a great day , with great weather! Thank you to our staff and parents for the amazing support that went into producing this first annual event/fundraiser!
