September Tasks At A Glance
- Submit School Improvement Plan to Mathew Fail by September 9th
- NC Star Schools - Upload Comprehensive Needs Assessment and Assurances document to 'document upload' section of Indistar. Amy will download SIPs from Indistar and submit to Mathew Fail.
- Set date and plan for Title I Open Meeting (by October 11th, usually on Curriculum Night)
- Sign and date Attestation Statement and save for monitoring visit.
- Parents' Right to Know letter distributed to parents by September 12th.
- Maintain copies of mentor/mentee assignments and coaching/support to account for HQ recruitment and retention.
- Recruit 2 or more parents to serve on District Parent Advisory Council to provide feedback on Title I budget and programs.
- TAS (Royal Oaks) - Continue completion of student ranking spreadsheet and distribute parent input letter. Begin process for selecting students that will participate in TAS and develop plan for serving students.
- Compacts - collect and maintain signed compacts and gather a sampling from each grade level for monitoring visit.
- Focus and Low Performing Schools communicate school status with parents (newsletters, website, parent handbook, Title I Open Meeting, etc.)
- Save copies of Master Schedule, tutor schedules, ESL schedules, etc. for monitoring visit.
