What's Up At The Nest...

Principal's Message

OMS Families,

We had a wonderful week at the nest!

On Tuesday, we had team building with fourth graders creating the "Human Alphabet". Fourth-grade students displayed excellent communication and collaboration skills in making different letters.

On Thursday during both recess shifts, Student Council reps, Mrs. Watanuki and Mrs. Muhr offered a fitness circuit with four stations outside and different activities to do at each station. The students did a wonderful job with it!

Thank you to all who attended 3rd Grade Family Clay Night on Wednesday evening! Mr. DeMarco did an amazing job leading families through making a clay pot. It was such a fun, interactive activity.

This morning, our Fabulous Firsties flew to Japan! First graders are starting their unit on Japan, and took a "flight" all the way there. We are excited to hear about their learning and adventures in the coming weeks. Please enjoy the photos below.

Get Burbed Challenge!

Registration is open for the 9th Annual ABC/25 Get Burbed Challenge on April 25, 2020! Choose the 5K or 1 mile and walk or run with friends and neighbors who are coming together to raise funds for the ABC/25 Foundation. All proceeds are put directly back into our schools and classrooms through teacher grants for innovative teaching methods and materials. Register by March 22nd to receive early registration perks including a $5 discount on the entry fee, a guaranteed race t-shirt and the option to have your race packet delivered to your D25 school.
