Central Elementary R.O.A.R. Report

Central families,

It's hard to believe we are almost one full month into the school year! I am so proud of our students for transitioning back into their school routines and it's been fun to watch the excitement of our kindergarten students as they arrive at school each morning.

Thank you for your support as we kick off this school year and new relationships are being built with your child's teacher. We are here to support your child and if you ever need anything, please reach out. Since we are halfway through first quarter, progress reports will be sent home on Monday. This will be a quick snapshot of how your child is doing so far this year.

Wildcat Wows are a way we recognize students for doing the right thing. Any teacher can write a Wildcat Wow out for a student to recognize them for going above and beyond. When a student receives a Wildcat Wow they bring it to the office and one of the principals will call home with the student and share the good news with you. We will also take the student's picture and it will be added to our Monday morning video announcements for the whole school to watch. We love making these phone calls and recognizing the positives! We have already made over 50 positive phone calls to families.

Our first PTO meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, Sep. 24 at 5:00 p.m. in the library. Please join us to help us plan our famly events for the year!

Wagner Portrait Group will be photographing students for portrait packages & school records.

Has your student mentioned that their class has earned a Paw Party? Classes can earn a paw party when they have accumulated 100 paw points as a class.

Any student can earn a paw point for good behavior. Each paw point that is earned gets put into the paw point chart in the classroom and that good behavior is shared with the class. Once they reach 100, it's time to party! Our students love celebrating together each time they achieve this goal.
