Gayman Gazette
March 11th Edition
"Pure Imagination" was Pure Perfection!!
Congratulations on the incredible achievement of bringing this musical to life! Your hard work, dedication, and passion have truly paid off. From the first rehearsal to the final performance, each of you has contributed something special to the production, and the result is nothing short of magical. To the cast, your talent and energy have breathed life into every character, and your performances have captivated the audience in ways words cannot fully express. To the crew, your behind-the-scenes efforts have been the backbone of this production, ensuring everything ran smoothly, from our stunning sets, fun costumes, creative props and perfectly timed set changes.
This musical would not have been possible without each and every one of you, and you should all be incredibly proud of the collective effort that made this experience unforgettable. Here's to the power of collaboration, creativity, and the joy of bringing art to life!
Once again, congratulations to everyone involved – you truly made something special.
Gayman had some very special guests in the audience at last week's in-school performance of "Pure Imagination." Five former students in the cast of Tohickon's "Beetlejuice Jr" came to watch their siblings on the Gayman stage. Because both musicals' performance dates overlapped, the in-school performance was the only opportunity the Tohickon kids had to see the show. Alexa, Sofia, Gretel, Leah and Matt were the proudest big siblings, and had rave reviews for "Pure Imagination!"
Big thanks to Mr. Dudley, principal of Tohickon, and our own Mr. Ortman for facilitating this special visit!

Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition - March 25 at Lenape:
Join Us for "Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition" on March 25 at Lenape. Are you watching kids become too accustomed to using technology at too young an age? Physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston saw this happening with her kids and wondered about the impact and the friction occurring in homes and schools around negotiating screen time. The result is "Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition."
On Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in the Lenape Middle School auditorium, parents, guardians, and caregivers are invited to a screening of the film, which will kick off a CBSD series on digital wellness. "Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition" is a version of the original "Screenagers" movie and addresses issues that elementary school aged kids, parents and educators are facing, such as smartwatches in class, unhooking from and monitoring video gaming, social media pressures, exposure too young, and what research shows is a healthy amount of screen time. Solutions are also offered.
No pre-registration is required. This event is for parents, guardians and caregivers only. There will be no child care available.
Lunch costs have increased by $.10 for the 24-25 school year.
The district is continuing to offer free breakfast!
Lunch Cost: $2.85
