Panther Girls Basketball Teams Celebrate Amazing Seasons
8th-Grade Sectional Champs
After defeating Downers Grove for the sectional title on December 11th, our James Hart 8th-graders head to the state tournament on Saturday, December 14th. Let's go, Panthers!
7th-Grade Sectional Champs
The 7th-graders ended their season as part of the "Elite 8" in the state tournament. Way to go, girls!
Willow Wildcats Get Their "Glow" On
Glow Run Raises Over $30,000 for PTA
On Nov. 22nd, our Willow Wildcats ran laps around the gym, transformed with neon lights, in its first "Glow Run" fundraiser. The runners secured pledges from friends and family for the number of laps run. Over $30,000 in donations came in from 40 different states!
We are so grateful to our PTA volunteers, especially Glow Run leader Lisa Opiola, for bringing such a fun and fruitful event to Willow School!
Churchill Celebrates End of First Trimester
Churchill School celebrated the end of the 1st trimester of school on Nov. 22nd. “Star Students” from the months of September and October competed for class bragging rights by playing a real-life version of the children’s game, "Hungry, Hungry Hippos.” Receiving some much-deserved love were the 117 students with perfect attendance and 467 students with ZERO referrals to the office!

153 Musicians Shine in Music Festival
James Hart sent 15 student musicians to the Illinois Music Education Association District 1 Festival in Cicero on Nov. 23rd. Students must audition to be selected to participate where they perform with other student musicians from the area. Bravo, Panthers!

District 153 Alum Continue Holiday Tradition
Kayla and Mara Winfrey started their hot chocolate fundraiser for Toys for Tots when they were students in 153. Twenty-one years later, their hot chocolate stand has become a Homewood holiday tradition! Please consider supporting!
