Absences, Late Arrivals, Early and End-of-Day Pickups

If your child(ren) will be gone or late, you MUST call the attendance line: 952-758-1405 (24/7, before 8:00 a.m. on the day that they will be gone) or main office line: 952-758-1400 (after 8:00 a.m.) or have your child bring a note to the office in the morning before or on the day you will be gone. If your child will be leaving early, have them bring a note to the office first thing in the morning to get a pass.

If your child is ill during the school day, please have them go to the nurse's office. The nurse will call home, if needed. Please remember that students should not be using their phones during the school day, unless a staff member knows about and has okayed it.

Dear NPMS Families,

It is hard to believe that the first semester has ended and we are already a couple of weeks into the second semester. We have enjoyed seeing the academic, social and emotional growth the students have made so far. We look forward to continued success for the rest of this school year. February is I Love to Read Month!

I Love to Read Month Dress-Up Days: February 5-9

Monday: Cozy Up With A Good Book (wear comfy clothes)
Tuesday: We Positively Love Books (wear a shirt with a positive message)
Wednesday: Be a "Fan" of Reading (wear favorite sports attire)
Thursday: On the "Hunt" for a Good Book (wear camouflage)
Friday: Our School Loves to Read (wear school spirit clothing)

Every month, New Prague Middle School has a new reading challenge for students and staff. So far in January, we have already had 882 staff and students logging in 209,328 minutes for the month!

8 - Pop Concert, 7 p.m.
19 - No School, K-12 (Presidents' Day)
29 - Early Release at 11:15 a.m. and In-Person Conferences (1:45-4:15 and 4:45-7:15 p.m.)

March:

7 - Virtual Conferences (3:15-4:15 and 4:45-7:15 PM)
11 - No School, K-12 (Staff Development/PLC)
15-17 - NPMS Musical (12/15 at 7 p.m., 12/16 at 2 and 7 p.m. and 12/17 at 2 p.m.)
25-29 - No School, K-12 (Spring Break)

April:

22-26 - MCA Reading Testing
