Hello BCS Community!

I am so excited to be officially welcoming you all back to BCS for the 2024-2025 school year. I'm looking forward to working with all of you this school year and supporting our students learn, grow and play.

We have had a busy summer here at school with lots of activity. We were the hub for meal pick ups, and Ms. Kali and Mrs. Kitchens enjoyed seeing everyone pick up lunch and breakfast. We had an average of about 30 meals each day! We also hosted a summer program with the help of Ms. Angela, Ms. DeBree, Ms. Meghan, Ms. Countryman and Ms. Connar for both BCS and SES students.

Ms. Bettee has been working very hard this summer getting our school clean and beautiful for our kids. We are so lucky to have her at BCS- our school is looking better than ever this year.

Join us on Friday August 23rd at 9-9:45AM for a "Welcome Back" visit at BCS.

Students and families can come see their classrooms and say hello to teachers, meet new staff, and enjoy a muffin or scone together.

The PTO will be there to answer questions about the work they do, as well as share information about how to support our school.

Monday, September 2nd- No School- Labor Day

Tuesday, September 3rd- First Day of School for Preschool!

Thursday September 5th, 6PM- FOBCS (PTO) Meeting

As a reminder, all children are entitled to free breakfast and lunch!

All school meals will be free again for ALL students.

But, it's still VERY IMPORTANT to complete the free and reduced meal application form. Our district gets $475,000+ each year based on the % of students who qualify for free/reduced meals. So, if you fill out the form, you help us qualify!

A paper application will come home with your child, or apply now online.

Please note: All times are approximate. Times for bus routes can vary by several minutes depending on traffic, construction, weather, and ridership. Students should be at their bus stop at least 5 minutes earlier than the published time. For safety reasons, drivers will not wait for students to come to the stop. If you have questions about a route, please contact your school.
