We’re thrilled to host this year’s ICE Awards at the Belltonian Theater! The event will begin at 6:00 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM. The Belltonian will have its concession stand open, so if you plan to order food, please arrive when doors open to ensure there is enough time to prepare and enjoy your food before the event begins. This is a ticketed event for students who have been nominated and their families. Due to limited seating, a ticket is required for entry. We are so excited to celebrate our amazing students at this special event!
The Big Red Art Show is headed our way!
Work goes up at Harris Community Center on May 5th. Closing reception is on Thursday, May 8th, 5-8 pm. There will be work from NEW TECH artists as well as artists from all around the district. It's a come and go event, so please come out to see the works and visit with the art teachers Mrs. Lloyd and Mr. Mel.
Important Library Update
Ms. Lanham has resigned to pursue new opportunities outside of public education. We are thankful for her impact on our campus in establishing our first library. We are currently working through the process of filling her position for next year.
Please remember: All library books must be returned by Friday, May 7th. The library book drop box is located in front of the MacDoc.
Why Your Student Should Take the TSIA Exam!
If you’re planning to go to college — even a 2-year program — the TSIA exam is your first step toward being college-ready and saving both time and money.
Here’s the deal:
The TSIA helps colleges know what classes you’re ready for. If you pass, you can skip remedial (non-credit) classes and jump right into credit-bearing courses. That means you can graduate faster, avoid paying for extra classes, and get to the fun stuff — pursuing your major and career goals.
Even if you're still deciding on college, taking the TSIA shows you and your teachers where you stand and what skills you can sharpen now — while it's still free and you're surrounded by support.
What’s in it for you?
*Save money by avoiding developmental courses
*Graduate college faster
*Feel confident knowing you're ready for college-level work
No pressure – it’s diagnostic too, so it just helps you know where to grow
You’ve already been building the skills. The TSIA just helps you prove it — and opens more doors for your future.
Take the step. Show what you know!
Please fill out the following form if you would like to sit for the TSIA test on Thursday April 17th. If you have questions, reach out to Ms. Poppenhusen!

2025-2026 Student Enrollment/Registration
New and returning student enrollment for Belton ISD opens April 22. Visit the district website’s Enrollment page to register. Families of new students, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and those entering grades 3, 6, and 9 must provide proof of residency.
High School Summer Registration
Please start communicating to parents that High School Summer Programs registration is now open. High School will consist of credit recovery, PE original credit (8th-11th), EOC boot camp, and EOC retesting. We are currently working with Temple College to also offer a TSIA boot camp. If you have any questions, reach out to Marilyn Kelly our High School Summer Principal. Here is the High School Registration Link to communicate out. The deadline to register for High School will be May 21st.
