Highlights of the week!

Dear Coleman Families,

On Tuesday, our 4th-grade students, led by Mrs. Foust, put on an outstanding Winter Concert. We are so proud of the students who auditioned and took on speaking and interactive roles to make the performance special.

On Monday, the PTO met and finalized plans for our Winter Wonderland event for students. The event will feature engaging activity stations and a Gingerbread House Build Challenge!

Parents are welcome to join us for Winter Wonderland on Friday, December 20th from 9:00–12:00 AM. We would greatly appreciate any support parents can offer! To help streamline the process, we ask that you RSVP ahead of time so we can have your name badge printed and ready upon arrival.

Below, you’ll find a flyer listing the items that the PTO is seeking support with. Additionally, PTO has created an Amazon Wishlist for anyone able to contribute.

Visitor Procedure Change at Coleman

To ensure the safety of all students and staff, we have updated our visitor procedures. Beginning immediately, all visitors to Coleman during school hours will be required to present a valid driver’s license for scanning.

This updated procedure is an important step in maintaining a secure and welcoming campus environment. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to prioritize the safety of everyone in our school community.

District to Host Parent & Community Interactive Design Meetings

Meramec Valley R-III School District invites all parents, staff, students, & community members to learn more about the initial design for a new 7th & 8th grade Middle School. Meetings hosted by Riverbend Middle School will begin at 6 PM on Oct. 22, Nov. 19, and Dec. 17.

Birthday Celebrations

In compliance with our Healthy Generation School goals, Coleman will focus on healthy celebrations. Student birthdays will be recognized on our daily announcements.

To comply with the national health guideline, we do not accept birthday or holiday treats.

*Every student at Coleman Elementary will receive a birthday pencil and card from the office on their birthday.*
