Need to Calm Down from Time to Time???
Calming Space
The Counseling Department has a Calming Space located in the College and Career Center. If students find that they need a safe space for a brief, yet intentional break to defuse anger, re-center outside of the classroom, or deescalate emotions/anxiety before becoming overwhelmed, they should ask their teacher for a pass and check in at the Counseling Suite front desk.

Dual Enrollment
Our Dual Enrollment application window is open for the spring semester!! Please visit our website here and download the checklist to complete the application process.

- If you are new to Dual Enrollment and wanting to take any of our on site classes, please attend the group advisement session, as opposed to the individual session sign up. (Advisement session sign-up links are in the Dual Enrollment checklist)
- Please make sure you download the Online Information Session ppt (see checklist on our website) in order to view and listen to the information.
- The Wheeler priority deadline is October 18. Do NOT wait until the last minute to complete these steps.
Please make sure all required steps are completed prior to your advisement session. We are unable to advise you unless you complete the necessary steps before the appointment.
Returning Dual Enrollment students still need to complete the steps required of them to continue with Dual Enrollment in the spring. Please refer to the checklist on our website to see what those steps are.
