1. STUDENT DROP OFF-

• From 7:30-8:00 am, please use the side door on Route 47 which is designated as the Student Drop Off Area.

• Bus Loop is CLOSED to thru traffic from 7:30-8:00 am. This area is for one-way bus traffic ONLY during arrival and dismissal times

• If you need to bring your child to school after classes begin at 8:00 am, you may use the Bus Loop AFTER 8:00 am. Please park in an available parking space and use caution as there are various occasions when a bus may enter the loop outside normal arrival and dismissal times.

• Please sign your child in at the Main Office when arriving after 8:00 am.

2. BUS CIRCLE:

The loop which goes in front of the main entrance of the building is reserved for ONE-WAY traffic. Please do not drive through with personal vehicles during the following timeframes:

• 7:30-8:00 am

• 12:50-1:05 pm

• 2:15-2:40 pm

Entering the bus loop during these times may result in getting stuck behind buses, unable to turn around due to the single direction of traffic or risking the safety of children boarding buses.

EARLY STUDENT PICK-UP

• If you need to pick up your child prior to the 2:30 pm dismissal time, please come to the Main Office to sign your child out. Office staff will then call the classroom and have your child come to meet you. It is helpful to send a note to the classroom teacher in advance.

• Please note you must come into the building to sign out your student.

DISMISSAL

Our first bus run departs at 2:30pm.

Our AIS/Enrichment Period runs

Monday- Thursday from 2:30-3:10pm.

Our late bus departs around 5:00pm

STUDENT DISMISSAL PLANS

• Any change to a student’s regular dismissal routine MUST be communicated in writing (handwritten or email) to the classroom teacher or Main Office staff no later than 12:00pm on the day the change is to take place.

• Please date and sign (handwritten note).
• Emails must come directly from a parent/guardian’s email account listed on schooltool.

• Phone calls for such changes may be accepted in an emergency situation.

• For bus changes, please be specific as to the name of the person and the address of the new destination.

• If your child is attending any after school activity, please specify if your child will be riding the late bus or will be picked up by a parent/guardian.

Students in Grades 1st-12th

• Homeroom begins at 7:50 daily.
• Breakfast is from 7:30-8:00am.

Students arriving between 7:30-7:50:

1st-5th Grade report the Cafeteria

6th-12th Grade report to the Auditorium

UPK and Kindergarten students are supervised by classroom staff

upon arrival and eat breakfast at 8am daily.

It is important to keep student contact information up to date, we use this information to release students during our school day, contact families in the event of an emergency, and ensure transportation details are accurate.
