Late Arrivals

.To ensure the safety and proper check-in process, we kindly ask that an adult accompanies the student(s) to the office and signs them in when arriving late. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth and secure environment for everyone.

Our Halloween parties will be held on Thursday, October 31st, starting with the costume parade at 2:00 PM. We welcome parents to join us in the festivities, but please remember that in order to attend, you must have a current background check on file with the school. No background checks will be processed on the day of the parties, so we encourage you to be sure of your status ahead of time. We look forward to a fun and safe celebration!

Title 1

Funding has been made available through School Wide Title 1 Services to Paragon Elementary for the purpose of providing students with extra support in reading/language arts and math. This extra support is available for all students at Paragon Elementary. Classroom teachers, Title 1 teachers, and instructional aides provide assistance through small group and individualized instruction as children demonstrate a need for support. Please contact your teacher about services your child may receive.

The Martinsville Lions Club will come to our school to test vision for students in PreK, Kindergarten, first, and third grades. The date for this event is Monday, November 4th. If you do not wish for your student to participate in our state required vision testing with the Martinsville Noon Lion's Club volunteers, please send a note to your school clinic declining this service.

Lady Artesian Youth Basketball

Sign ups for Lady Artesian Youth Basketball (Grades 1-6) are going on now and will continue through October 21st.
Families can sign up at the Member Services Desk at the YMCA or online at https://www.ymcamorgancounty.org/programs/lady-artesian-youth-basketball/ .

Martinsville Boys Lil' Arties Basketball

The Martinsville Boys Lil’ Arties Basketball program would like to invite all boys in grades 2 through 6 to register online for our 2024/25 season.
Online registration is open now thru Sunday September 29th.
The registration fee per player is $75, and each additional sibling is $60. Siblings must be registered at the same time to receive the discount.
The 2024/25 season will take place from November through January, with practices during the week and games on Saturdays.
