May 30 We will travel to the auditorium to watch Mr. Jarve's Brass Quintet perform for us

May 31 Field Day (June 3 is our weather make up day )

Dear NOE Parents,

We are getting close to our “Spring Sing” Concerts on May 16th. Our students have been working very hard and are very excited to perform their songs for you. Because the concerts take place during the school day, we expect participation from all of our students. Please have students dress in “nice” concert clothes. Third grade students will also need sunglasses for one of their songs. We look forward to seeing you on May 16th. Our PTO would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our NOE families for the AMAZING results of both our Read-A-Thon and Spring bookfair. This year's Read-A-Thon raised over $5,450 for our PTO, helping us guarantee a fantastic May, including a school trip to the Alpine Chocolat Haus and a fantastic Fun (Field) Day later this month! Our bookfair was the highest-selling bookfair in NOE history, giving us the ability to continue our subscriptions to Scholastic News, stock classroom libraries, and offer even more rewards for our school library in the fall. THANK YOU so much for showing our school such fantastic support!

Please join us for our May PTO meeting & Kids Club on May 14th, beginning at 3:15pm, for our final PTO meeting of this school year & to help plan our end-of-the-year activities!

We are also looking for more volunteers to assist with our Fun Day activities on May 31st and/or our rain-out date of June 3rd! We will be hosting a variety of fun activity stations for our students to attend and need as much help as we can get! As a safety precaution we ask that NOBODY walk between the busses. It can be an easy short cut at drop off or pick up to walk from the sidewalk between the busses to a parked car on the street but this creates a safety hazard so we ask that nobody walk between the busses. Thank you!

Please remember that water is acceptable in water bottles; it makes spill clean up so much easier and is a healthy option! Students should not have pop, cans or glass at school. Thank you for supporting this from home!
