Forbes Best Employers by State 2024
βWe are honored to be the only school district in Wisconsin to be named to Forbes 2024 list of Americaβs Top Employers. Our district values a βwe mentality,β where working together is truly a priority. Being named on this list is a recognition of our employeesβ dedication to our students and the community,β said Superintendent Jake Konrath.
π SASD Student-Designed & Built Home
In September, students, staff, and special guests celebrated the groundbreaking of the 27th home that students from North and South High Schools will build in our community! A fantastic group of students will spend two hours of their school day building a house from the ground up and gaining skills that prepare them for the future.
South High Senior Katelyn Nettekoven designed the house, which is currently under construction. Her design was chosen from plans created by students in our Project Lead the Way Civil Engineering and Architecture class last spring.
The house foundation has been poured, and students are starting to work on framing, which includes constructing the walls, floors, and roof.
