Young Middle School Newsletter
March 2024 Edition
Greetings Wolfpack Families and Friends!
Welcome to the March edition of our monthly school newsletter. I hope this message finds each of you well. As we step into March, I want us to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable achievements and events that have occurred within our school community.
Our students continue to showcase outstanding dedication, with many achieving notable academic milestones. Specifically, we have had students to earn the opportunity to compete in the GATA competition, we have had first place winners in the Social Science Fair, and we have also had students to compete and win first and second place in the District Technology Innovation Competition. I commend their hard work and perseverance, as well as the unwavering support provided by our dedicated teachers and staff to make these achievements possible.
Beyond the classroom, our students have and are continuing to excel in various extracurricular activities, from sports to arts and beyond. Their commitment to personal growth and teamwork is beyond admirable and amazing, and we should be so proud of their accomplishments. Let’s continue to show them our support as they represent our school community.
Our school remains deeply committed to fostering a sense of community and inclusivity. As we did during the month of February, throughout March we will be organizing several events and initiatives aimed at strengthening bonds between students, parents, and staff. I encourage everyone to participate as we continue to build a vibrant school community. Stay tuned to our various social media outlets, newsletters and our webpage so you can know what is happening and remain involved.
As always, we strongly encourage open communication between parents and teachers. Your involvement and feedback are invaluable in ensuring the success of our school and fostering the well-being of our students. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
I want to again express my sincere gratitude to all of you for the continued support and dedication. Together, we are “Rebuilding the Legacy” of Jean Childs Young Middle School, one day at a time.
With Gratitude,
Ronald Garlington - Principal
