MT's purpose is to educate and empower students to become responsible citizens.
A Few Words From the Principal
I hope everyone has the opportunity to do something that they enjoy during this break. That may be reading a book, shooting some hoops, seeing family or friends, traveling, sleeping in, bing watching a tv show, the options go on and on. Having time to energize and refresh during break will help everyone have a successful 4th quarter.
When we return to school we will begin State Assessments. We will start with ELA on Thursday, March 27. We will be using a block schedule (more details below) during the ELA and Math tests to allow our students the time they need to complete this new interactive assessment.
iHere are some tips to help your student do their best.
- Get a good nights sleep - this helps students be alert and focus on the assessment
- Make sure they eat breakfast and/or bring snacks - lunch is at a slightly different time so a snack may be needed
- Make sure that they have their computer charged and have their charger with them - they must have a charged device to take the assessment
- If they have a question encourage them to raise their hand and ask. The teachers will provide the assistance that is allowed by the testing protocols
- Encourage your student to take their time and to do their best - state assessment results are data that we use to identify students that need additional support or extensions
If you or your student has questions about the assessments, do not hesitate to reach out to their content teacher. We are excited for our students to show what they have mastered this year.

Screenager
A presentation for parents and children concerned about mentor health in the digital age.
Millions of young people experience high levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. In this context, we follow physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston as she explores innovative solutions for enhancing adolescent well-being in the digital age.
During our time together, we will view the film, which serves as a resource to uncover essential skills for building stress resiliency within schools and our community. This film is primarily intended for children aged 10 and older but may also be suitable for younger audiences with parental guidance.
