Self Management Lesson 1

  • Introduce Lessons for Week: Say, “For the past few weeks, we have been discussing self-awareness. Now, we are ready to learn about self-management. Let’s begin by learning what is self-management.”



  • Reflection questions are included in the video. Be sure to pause the video at each question to allow adequate time for students to respond. Students may respond verbally in class discussion or write their thoughts on paper.


  • Why do you think Rebecca was becoming upset?

  • What would you do if you heard a group of people spreading rumors about your friends?

  • What are some effective ways Rebecca can control her emotions?
